On Friday, July 16, 2021, Jane (Fiske) Slaydon, loving wife and mother of two, passed away at the age of 61 after battling breast cancer.

Jane was born on September 26,1959 in Newburyport, MA. She moved to FL when she was around 7 years old, and has resided here ever since. In 1978 she met the love of her life, Greg Slaydon, and they were married on Nov. 10th later that same year. They raised two daughters, Marijane and Courtney, and have been together for 42 years.

Jane had many interests, one of her favorite’s was genealogy and searching for lost ancestors. She loved looking at old photos and trying to find the history behind the people in them. Jane also enjoyed taking pictures of family and friends any chance she got. Scrapbooking was a favorite hobby of hers as well. Her greatest joy came in 2006 when her first grandchild, Alexandria, was born. Jane loved all her grandchildren immensely and cherished every moment spent with them.

Jane was preceded in death by her father, Robert F. Fiske. She is survived by her husband, Greg Slaydon, and her two daughters, Marijane (Robert) Bischoff, and Courtney Slaydon. Also by her 5 grandchildren, Alexandria Scarfato, Hayden Bischoff, Charlie Gaster Jr., Dylan Bischoff, and Jaime Bischoff. It was her wish to not have a memorial service at this time.
